Thanks to United Way funding, Family Services is able to offer counseling services to individuals without insurance at no cost or at very low cost. Additional grant funding allows the agency to provide counseling services free of charge, to any adult county resident who is actively enrolled in Medicaid. The agency also accepts most major insurances. Services can address a variety of concerns, including marital difficulties, parenting concerns, family problems, and individual adjustment issues. Social workers, counselors, and marriage and family therapists who have extensive counseling experience are available for both day and evening appointments.

The Lions Eye Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania, established in 1959, is a non-profit organization focused on curing blindness by providing donor eye tissue for sight-saving corneal transplants across the local, national, and international levels.
