Electron Devices is a division of L-3 Communications Holdings and has been designing and manufacturing microwave vacuum devices for more than 50 years. The division is ISO 9001:2000-certified and manufactures a wide variety of products that include microwave tubes, amplifiers and other vacuum devices. It also manufactures high-voltage and low-noise power supplies, traveling wave tubes and microwave power modules. Additionally, the company manufactures a variety of commercial devices for television broadcasting, medical applications, satellite communications and high-energy plasma research applications. Its parent company, L-3 Communications Holdings, is a supplier of a wide range of products and services for the aerospace and defense industries. Electron Devices maintains a location in Williamsport, Pa., and has an office in San Carlos, Calif.
