Katera's Kove is family owned and operated. The owner, a Registered Nurse and Certified Dementia Practitioner is very dedicated to the care of the elderly. Originally Katera's Kove was built to accommodate 26 residents and in 2005 expanded to 79 beds to include a 29 bed secured memory care unit which is the largest in Beaver County. Residents enjoy the outdoor courtyards, water fountain and beautiful landscape. Katera's Kove, added a homehealth agency and homecare agency and registry to its corporation in 2012. Katera's Kove, Inc. is a Pennsylvania Corporation that consists of a 79 bed personal care and secured dementia community, a home health agency, and a home care agency and registry. We specialize in the care of the elderly including dementia. We provide excellent care by experienced nurses, certified nursing assistants, and personal care aides. The owner is a certified dementia practitioner as well as many of the staff. Residents live in a home like setting and enjoy an excellent activities schedule in and out of the facility. Family members are encouraged to join us for all our activities, holidays and outings. We offer continuous education to staff and family members from the Alzheimer's Association.We also offer specialty diets and home cooked meals. We have an excellent reputation with past and current families, Doctors, Social Workers, Hospitals, and other facilities. We also offer care to those still able to be at home through our home health and home care agency and registry.
