Drews Crew Saving One Charity

History

Drew's Crew Saving One was started after we lost our youngest son Andrew to an impaired driving crash 2 weeks after graduation. Andrew had been to a graduation party with alot of his friends the party was hosted by adults with plenty of alcohol to go around. They left the party around 5 a.m. Andy was a passenger in a car driven by his best friend they were going way to fast and rolled the car, they both got out he had survived that crash. Andrew was standing by the overturned car when another close friend who had just left the party also came in a pick up truck he hit the car and Andy throwing him over 200 feet and killing him instantly. The driver continued on another 10th of a mile and hit a tree. Andrew was the only one that lost his life that early morning, but the other boys have to live the rest of their lives knowing that a few bad decisions took their friend away for ever.

Spreading awareness about the dangers of underage drinking and impaired & destructive driving. Our hope is that by telling our story and bringing awareness we can save at least one family from the heartache of losing a loved one to the dangers of impaired driving. Also to bring awareness to the parents that host the parties and serve alcohol to underage kids with the chances of them driving away. We do not charge for our presentation we offer speaking engagements at schools or youth groups and run solely on donations.
