Founded in 1904, Douglas Education Center offers a wide range of educational courses in technology, medical, arts and cosmetology. The center offers services, such as orientation, career services, child care programs, drug assistance programs, health services, and advising services and mentoring. Its student services include various student committees, social functions and field trips. The center offers diplomas, certificates and associate degrees in business administration, medical transcription specialist, medical assistant, Web and graphic design, cosmetician program, and manicuring and nail designing. Located in Monessen, Pa., Douglas Education Center is approved by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools and the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency.
