Children's Museum of Pittsburgh

We're having a great time at Children's Museum of Pittsburgh and the only thing missing is you! Come design and create with ink, paint and clay in the Art Studio and try out real tools and materials such as wood, a loom and circuits in MAKESHOP, our tinkering space. Young ones can explore colors, shapes and textures for their developing minds in the Nursery, and explore moving, raining and frozen water in Waterplay. The Kindness Gallery and Garage round out the permanent exhibits, plus a rotating slate of temporary exhibits, creative programs and amazing interactive art. Next door at MuseumLab, our space for kids 10+, you can go deep on art and making projects from laser cutting to embroidery to animation, explore a 3-story climbing environment and get immersed in an inflatable maze. MuseumLab is open daily in the summer, Noon - 5:00 pm. Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh was voted the #2 children’s museum in the nation in USA Today’s 10Best Reader’s Choice 2024 Contest.
