Gurrentz International Corporation is a third generation family company founded in 1937 by Harry Gurrentz. He was joined by his son, Morton, in 1954. Together, the two grew the business from a small, local distributor of fresh beef to one of the largest importers of beef into the U.S.A. Gurrentz imports beef from all major exporting countries of the world: Australia, New Zealand, Central and South America and Canada. During the 1980's, Morton's sons, Rodger and Patrick, entered the business. While maintaining established interests in imported boneless beef, they expanded the product base, adding specialty imported cuts and domestic boxed beef.
