History

Tropical Lagoon in Dillsburg opened in the early 90's. Owned and operated by my partner. It was a large exotic pet store with many unique animals. The Python used by the professional wrestler Jake the Snake was leased from this store. Large chain pet stores entered the industry and the small independent shop suffered, many went out of business. We offer 25 years of knowledge and experience.

Not a clean place. Very smelly and everything seems to be old products. Dusty shelves. Animal cages need lots of attention. Fish tanks are disgusting with floating dead fish. Very inhumane.

The bad smell hits you as soon as you enter. Very dirty throughout. Animals are in overcrowded and inhumane cages. There's lots of cages in the corners, not sure if they're for sale or garbage...
