Buzzi Unicem USA is the United States-based subsidiary of Buzzi Unicem SpA, an international multiregional group focused on cement, ready-mix concrete and aggregates. In the United States, Buzzi Unicem operates over 10 cement plants, of which one grinding plant, with an annual capacity of approximately 10 million tons a year and a market share, in the whole of the country, of more than 5%. The distribution network, which benefits from river transport opportunities, includes over 25 terminals. Buzzi Unicem USA, which stems from the merger, early in 2004, of RC Cement and Lone Star Industries, serves the Midwest and Northeast of the country. Buzzi Unicem USA maintains a facility in Stockertown, Penn.
