History
In 1979 Dale & Donald McElrath purchased Gehman's Diner from brothers Chet & Paul Gehman. They named it Jennie's Diner after Dale's wife Jennie. Dale died in 1982, and his brother Don ran it until 1991. He turned over the reins to Jennie and her two children, Tina & Clayton. Jennie's became a house hold name throughout Lancaster County. It wasn't long before everyone knew Jennie's Diner. Jennie sold the diner in 2004. In October of 2011, her son, Clayton, and her daughter,Tina, began working on a new diner known today as Aunt Jennie's 41 Diner.
