Associated Clinical Laboratories

Associated Clinical Laboratories is a regional reference laboratory serving Pennsylvania, New York and Ohio. Formed in 1986, the laboratory is a regional asset and resource for physicians and patients. It is overseen by members of Pathology Associates of Erie. ACL s affiliation with Quest Diagnostics enables it to provide a wide range of diagnostic testing and information services and allows local access to the nation s largest reference laboratory. The laboratory employs two doctoral level scientists who manage the technical areas of the operation. Testing not performed at ACL is referenced into the Quest facilities in Pittsburgh, and the Quest Diagnostics Nichols Institute esoteric testing facilities in Chantilly, Va., and San Juan Capistrano, Calif. Associated Clinical Laboratories maintains a location in Erie, Pa.
