Harmac Pacific operates a Northern Bleached Softwood Kraft (NBSK) pulp mill located on the east coast of Vancouver Island near Nanaimo, British Columbia. Since its restart in October 2008, the mill has increased its production capacity to 365,000 tonnes of high-quality kraft pulp per year through the addition of a second production line and capital upgrades. The mill produces kraft pulps from custom blends of Douglas fir, western hemlock, balsam fir, interior SPF, and western red cedar.
