Smith is a licensed psychologist who has provided experienced, effective, and compassionate clinical services for adults, adolescents, and children in the local area since 1994. She specializes in treatment for anxiety and depression; life transitions; relationships; parenting; self-confidence and performance anxiety; professional boundaries and compassion fatigue; and play therapy with children ages 2-6. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Smith has taught at numerous universities as adjunct faculty, and has published award-winning research in the areas of ethics and supervision. She provides training and consultation on: 1) psychological self-care for professionals; 2) helping skills for educators, health care, and human services workers; and 3) positive parenting. Dr. Smith is a preferred provider for PacificSource. She will also bill other insurance companies, and will work with clients on a private pay basis.
