When your primary physician or specialist recommends thoracic surgery for a disease or condition that affects your lungs or chest, our thoracic surgery team will work with you from the time of diagnosis to discharge from the hospital. Our thoracic surgeons will present a treatment plan and provide the necessary information to guide you through the surgery and inpatient process, to returning home to managing your condition.

Compassionate and highly skilled, Dr. Kathleen Yang is board-certified in Gynecologic Oncology and Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is an award-winning clinical instructor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. Energized by the work she does, Dr. Yang practices minimally invasive surgery in her treatment of cancer patients. She also has a special interest in clinical trials and robotic surgery.
