History

MTMCare got its start when Randee Bowder decided to pursue her ultimate goal: achieving work-life balance. After more than a dozen years working as a retail pharmacist, she was disillusioned, frustrated and burnt out. Randee was on the path to becoming a life coach when she got the opportunity to work as a consultant pharmacist delivering medication therapy management (MTM) services to patients all over the country via phone. With an anchor client, a list of 500 patients, and a small office, Randee launched MTMCare in 2011. Her search for a business partner led her to Nicole Schrankel, a clinical pharmacist with more than 15 years of experience in a hospital setting. Randee's entrepreneurial leadership and Nicole's clinical background create a solid foundation for MTMCare, which now employs numerous pharmacists around the country who want a flexible and supportive work environment while being able to apply their clinical pharmacy skills.
