Legacy Meridian Park Hospital, a part of Legacy Health System, is a more than 150-bed acute care hospital. Established in 1973, it was awarded with the National Quality Leader in the Category of Ischemic Stroke by CareScience. The hospital sees more than 30,000 patients yearly in the emergency room and part of the emergency department is dedicated specifically for the care of children. Its breast health center provides digital mammography for screening and diagnosis, interpretations by radiologists specializing in breast imaging, breast ultrasound, second opinion consultation, and cancer rehabilitation and support.
