In 1986 the company, sensing a need for a milder shop, opened The Love Boutique. This shop would be the softer side of the adult business. Selling party supplies, bachelorette novelties, joke gifts as well as more romantic items such as men's and women's lingerie, love coupons, educational dvds and books. Built on derelict land in Aloha, Oregon, construction of the high tech, 18, 000 square foot, two-story building began in late 1999 and ended in mid 2001, taking just over one year to complete.
