Samaritan Health Service is network of Oregon hospitals, physicians and senior care facilities that serve the health care needs of people in the mid-Willamette Valley and the central Oregon coast. It provides health care to about 250,000 people, residing in Linn, Benton, Lincoln and portions of Polk and Marion counties. SHS has hospitals in Albany, Corvallis, Lebanon, Lincoln City and Newport. Its physician clinics are located in Albany, Brownsville, Corvallis, Depoe Bay, Lebanon, Lincoln City, Newport, Sweet Home, Toledo and Waldport. The senior care facilities are in Corvallis and Sweet Home. Samaritan Health Services was formed in 1997, when two longtime health care organizations decided they could accomplish more working together than they could separately and consolidated Lebanon s Mid-Valley Health Care, Inc. and Corvallis Samaritan, Inc.

The Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center is a hospital that offers a range of health care services. It provides more than 20 medical specialties, including comprehensive cancer care and neurosurgery. The hospital administers a full-service, cardiac and vascular surgery program. The Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center operates a sleep laboratory, as well as offers a variety of regional services. It serves the residents of Linn, Benton and Lincoln counties in Oregon. The hospital oversees a staff of over 1,500 employees and is licensed to maintain nearly 180 beds.
