Reading Frenzy was an independent press emporium in Portland, OR, dedicated to selling indie comics and zines for over 22 years. Although it closed its physical store in December 2016 due to rising housing costs and other challenges, the business continues to exist under new ownership, while contributing to Portland's vibrant literary scene.
The emporium was known for supporting marginalized voices, offering a curated selection of books and zines that addressed punk philosophy, feminism, activism, and Black history.
