About JR's Freight Services, Inc JR Transportation was founded in the spring of 1991 with the notion that the company would operate as a transportation brokerage. In September of 1991 JR Transportation was incorporated and JR allowed Richard Nusser to make a small investment in the company and become a partner. The business flourished in those early years and in 1996 JR bought a couple of used trucks and trailers and began the Flatbed Division. Rich and JR remained partners until the end of 2005 when they mutually agreed to end their partnership. JR and Rich have never stopped giving credit to the Lord for bringing this company to the forefront in the community and in the industry. With goals to become a premier flat bed carrier and to establish excellence in their relationships with customers and in their employees, JR's Freight Services, Inc, has grown significantly over the years. From the 200 square foot woodshed in 1991 to the six-acre facility you see on our web page, there have been many changes since those early days. JR's Freight Services, Inc, was recognized by INC. 500 Magazine as one of the 5, 000 fastest growing companies in the nation in July 2007. Through it all we have remained dedicated to excellence in service and integrity to our customers, carriers, employees, and to the community.
