History

Susan Froehlich founded Columbia River Acupuncture in 1999 with clinics in Hood River, The Dalles, OR as well as Stevenson, WA. Prior to becoming a LAc, Susan was a Children's Rehabilitation Specialist. She completed her TCM degree at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine(OCOM), in Portland, OR where OCOM ranks as one of the nations top Oriental Med schools. Upon completing the 4-year, Master's of Acupuncture & Oriental Med. degree program, she attended a 5 week externship in Nanjing, China. In 2012, Charles Cannon, her son and now partner joined CRA. His undergrad studies were completed at the U of Utah in nursing & philosophy. Managing school and sport, Charlie traveled internationally as a celebrated telemark skier appearing in numerous backcountry ski movies/publications. Upon completing his Master's @ OCOM and externship in China, he and Susan formed CRA, LLC. With offices currently in Hood River and Mosier, OR, CRA happily serves all those in the Columbia River Gorge!
