World Publishing Company manages and publishes the Tulsa World, a daily newspaper providing residents of Tulsa, Okla. and the surrounding areas with local, national and international news, advertisements, weather, entertainment, classifieds and interest articles. Tulsa World, the company s only publication, has won numerous awards, including several national awards for its student-run Satellite section. The company maintains an online publication, tuslaworld.com, which provides users with news, sports, business, classifieds and entertainment information similar to the content in its print publication. Additionally, users of the online publication can access archives or previously online- or print-published articles. The company has no parent or subsidiaries and operates out of a single location in Tulsa, Okla. World Publishing has been printing the Tulsa World since the early 1900s.
