I was 12 years old when I started volunteering at a local hospital and saw the difference physicians were making in their patients' lives. I love thinking about my patients as a whole, from head to toe; that's why I chose infectious diseases as my area of focus. I am most passionate about taking care of my patient, being able to listen to them and provide compassionate care. I love getting to know my patients. The key to providing good care is communication.
