Westhope

Westhope, also known as the Richard Lloyd Jones House, is a historic Frank Lloyd Wright designed Textile Block home located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Constructed in 1929, it is the only Textile Block house designed by Wright outside of California. The house features a unique architectural style with stacked textile blocks and over 5,200 panes of glass, covering almost half of its exterior. With five bedrooms and five baths, Westhope spans over 10,405 square feet on 1.5 acres of land. It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1975 and is one of only three Wright structures in Oklahoma. The house has a rich history, including anecdotes about its leaking roof and the significant renovations made by its current owner, Stuart Price.Generated from the website
