In 1983 Don Childers joined the firm and the name changed to Childers-Childers Architects & Associates. Three additional partners were added to the firm in 2007; Tim Elliott, Kim Prater, and Forrest Neal. The newly formed partnership established Redland Architects focused on Native American work.
