Binger is a small town located in Northeast Caddo County, nestled in the valley of Sugar Creek, a tributary of the Washita River and part of the Red River watershed. Established after the opening of the Wichita-Caddo Reservation in August 1901, Binger originally thrived on agriculture, with cotton and peanuts as its principal crops.

The town is notable for being the childhood home of MLB Hall of Famer Johnny Bench and award-winning singer-songwriter Verlon Thompson. Binger also features a museum dedicated to Bench, celebrating his legacy as one of baseball's all-time greats.
