Dr. Pristas, a native of Delaware, OH, began her academic journey at Denison University for her undergraduate studies. Her dedication and excellence earned her an Air Force scholarship for medical school at Ohio University. Upon graduation, she completed an active-duty residency in general surgery at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, MS, where she specialized in advanced laparoscopy, including bariatric and robotic surgery.
