History of Howland Alarm The company was established in 1969 by Charles ( Buzz ) Matheson and wife Pat, who was at that time a full time Police Officer in the Howland Police Deparment. Upon completing school, their children Jesse and Cindy, came into the business and later became partners. Jesse as the Installer/Repairs and Cindy in Sales and Office Mananger. The Company was voted "Best of the Best" by the Warren Tribune for the last several years out of 20 other Alarm Company. The company has tripled in size over the last 10 years due to our superior installation and service along with friendly personnel. We have always provided our own local monitor service. You are more than just a number to us. Howland Alarm is run by friendly, intelligent people. We have always used "Ademco" Security products which are one of the oldest and largest companies in the USA, products which almost any company can service.
