This division buys and sells trailer loads of used automotive parts on a daily basis at our 2100 Refugee Road facility. In addition to engine cores we buy intact engines, transmissions, torque converters, starters, alternators, a/c compressors, steering gears, rack & pinions, and power steering pumps. These used parts are, in turn, sold to production and automotive remanufacturers in the United States and abroad and provide a strong example of G-COR Automotive's niche in the automotive recycling chain. Our Metals Melting Division houses two furnaces. Together they generate 100, 000 pounds of 380-grade cast aluminum per week as well as 120 tons of clean cast iron and steel.
