Beatty Park at Eastgate Elementary School is a part of Columbus City Schools, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools and serves more than 55,000 students. The school offers education to students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Its academic curriculum includes English, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies and physical education. It provides various extracurricular activities, such as music, chess club, Special Olympics and field trips. The school has a mental health department that employs several mental health clinicians and music and recreation therapists, as well as works in collaboration with the St. Vincent Family Center.
