Melanie Smiley, OD grew up in Washington and graduated from Linfield University in Oregon in 2018. Dr. Smiley played 4 years of collegiate softball at Linfield University and spent a year as the outfield coach at the University after graduating. She then went on to complete optometry school at the Arizona College of Optometry, where she graduated in 2023. Dr. Smiley experienced vision problems as a young child and ever since she was seven years old, her goal was to create a welcoming environment for children as well as their parents while receiving their eyecare. During her time in optometry school, Dr. Smiley discovered her passion for primary care optometry- including pediatrics, dry eye, contact lenses, ocular disease, and refractive disorders.
