Lorain County

The mission of Lorain County Port Authority is to promote economic development by assisting private industries initiatives; by encouraging development and redevelopment; and by promoting investment in business, industrial and transportation projects.

The Medina County Health Department, also known as MCDH, is governed by the Medina County Combined General Health District. It offers physical and mental health care services, as well as prevention services for diseases, injuries and disabilities. The department operates a health promotion division that provides community engagement, emergency preparedness planning, health education, community and media relation services. In addition, the Medina County Health Department s nursing division offers a variety of health promotion and disease prevention services. Its environmental division protects public health in Medina County in Ohio. The Medina County Health Department also provides food protection, residential and commercial plumbing and rabies control programs.
