National College has helped working adults in the Akron area achieve their education goals since 2007 and continues to build on its reputation among Northeast Ohio employers for its skilled graduates.

Vocational Guidance Services, headquartered in Cleveland, is a private nonprofit organization that provides vocational evaluations, basic life skills, work adjustment, training and job placement services to individuals who have disabilities or who are economically disadvantaged. The organization s evaluation and assessment services help participants explore options and identify immediate and long-term vocational goals. During the evaluation process, vocational interests, aptitudes, strengths and limitations are identified and used to determine the steps necessary to reach career goals. Its basic life skills program assists people with mental and developmental disabilities to optimize their personal social and vocational competency through self-care, socialization, communication and daily living skills. The program also assists people in the areas of computer usage, academic skills, basic vocational activities, health care, and wellness, leisure and recreational activities.
