Lake Metroparks Farmpark is a family-oriented science and cultural center of agriculture, farming and country life, and is located in Kirtland, Ohio. It offers special activities, including ice cream and bread making, planting plants and building seasonal crafts. It also provides snowshoeing at scheduled times during the day and weather permitting. Its Lake Effect Children s Museum provides young children with interactive learning experiences focusing on the link between play and advancing learning in preparation for school. It provides experience of milking a cow, taking a wagon ride and discovering more than 50 breeds of farm animals. Its Sawyer House Cafe offers breakfast, lunch and snack and also has a gift shop. Its members and children under 11 have a free entry.

This Farmpark is really neat. It's a working farm with livestock, gardens, tractors, and a Border Collie herding sheep, and lots more of any farming you can think of. Families were everywhere....

We brought our youngest here today. We had a great time, she loved waving at all the animals, especially the cows. We got delicious hand squeezed lemonade and fried Oreos, which she loved as well....
