As a psychologist, I specialize in rehabilitation psychology, specifically working with patients who are dealing with burn injury, cancer, spinal cord injury or chronic pain. It's rewarding to assist those dealing with traumatic or distressing injuries as well as other medical events in a patient's process to recover help patients who are coping with chronic illness or new injury to find healthy and adaptive ways of dealing with these health challenges. My goal is to see that my patients reach or even exceed their goals in order to lead meaningful, fulfilling and enriching live t Ohio State, I really enjoy working with a multidisciplinary team where my colleagues are just as passionate and dedicated as I am to patient care and promoting increased awareness to a healthy lifestyl hen I'm not working, I enjoy spending time and relaxing with my family, traveling and reading. I also enjoy being outdoors and kayaking whenever I can.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in psycho-oncology, psychosocial distress, behavioral sleep medicine, chronic pain management, weight management, relaxation training and coping with chronic illness. Patients complete a formal evaluation for a personalized care plan to address their individual needs, ranging from emotional distress to improving their ability to cope with side effects of cancer and its treatment y research interests include psycho-oncology and quality of life during treatment for cancer and cancer survivorship. Specifically, my research focuses on evaluating longitudinal patterns in health-related quality of life, cancer-related distress, health disparities and cultural factors, and the development and evaluation of psychosocial interventions in cancer patient population n addition to my clinical and research work, I am an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. I also serve as co-chair on the Evidence-Based Behavioral Medicine Special Interest Group for the Society of Behavioral Medicine. I really enjoy working at Ohio State because I'm able to provide top-notch care for my patients and help train the clinicians of tomorrow in the Psychology Internship Program and the Psychiatry Resident Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy Clinic.
