Industrial First is a diversified specialty construction service organization. Founded in 1936, the company s service offerings include roofing, waterproofing, protective coating applications, architectural and industrial sheet metal fabrication and installation, structural steel sales and erection, and light steel fabrication. It also provides heavy and specialized in-plant rigging and erection services, perform millwright and boiler maker work and furnish and erect metal siding, metal decking, pre-cast and natural stone. Through its subsidiaries, Shippers Highway Express and Construction Materials, Industrial First delivers additional specialty construction services, such as warehousing, trucking, inventory management, insulation and fire-retardant materials.
