The LIGHTHOUSE LODGE began in 1999 when we brainstormed for a new use for a small retail shop on our property to create a vision of unique lodging for people who visit the Lake Erie shores. We wanted to create an uncommonly comfortable, attractive home away from home for visitors to the Lakeside/Marblehead Peninsula who want more than the average cabin, cottage, or hotel.

LEWCO was established as a welding and fabricating job shop in 1917 and grew into a manufacturer of conveyors and industrial ovens for domestic and international markets. The company is headquartered in a 135,000-square-foot facility in Sandusky, Ohio. The facility hosts a professional staff of sales, engineering and trades personnel. It is equipped with modern metal manufacturing equipment used for computer-aided design, laser cutting, CNC Turret punching and robotic welding. LEWCO features two product lines. It manufactures HEAT-PRO multipurpose industrial ovens which reach 800 degrees Farenheit. LEWCO also manufactures conveyors and other material handling equipment.

Matrix Automation has been utilizing technologies to develop automation solutions in some of the most demanding manufacturing environments. As industrial automation specialists, the company has implemented thousands of industrial projects throughout the world. Matrix Automation is divided into control engineering, production computing and business computing groups. An authorized Allen-Bradley Systems Integrator (ABSI) since 1983, the control engineering group focuses on programmer logic controller-based applications. The production computing group uses proprietary software, ProductionWare, and hardware to optimize the execution and management of industrial assembly processes. Like the production computing group, the business computing group specializes in designing, installing and maintaining computing networks. Founded in 1983, Matrix Automation is located in Huron, Ohio.
