Beachwood Academy of Self-Defense

We are a high-quality martial arts school in Beachwood, Ohio, specializing in self-defense for all ages. We offer a specialized condensed Women's Self-Defense program. Our children's karate program, originally developed by a psychologist, is age appropriate and evolved over 5-decades. Our adult classes run year-round and go in-depth into various self-defense scenarios and tactics. Our martial arts style, Tai Shin Doh, came from traditional armed forces self-defense, Karate, JuJitsu, Judo, and Aikido, taking the best self-defense aspects of each. Our current master instructor has additionally added Krav Maga, being one of the first American's trained in that style back in the 80's. We are nearly half the price and twice the quality of those "big box" schools with no contracts. Come join us at the beginning of a session or the middle at a pro-rated rate. Our curriculum continuously rotates all year with all levels of student experience in each class.
