Alex Products is one of the leading manufacturers of a variety of interior automotive components, including metal parts of seat cushions, seat backs, armrest frames and visor rods. It is a family-owned and fully automated manufacturer of welded assemblies of formed wires, tubes and stampings. Established in 1973, the company also designs and builds resistance welders for projection, spot and wire-fusion welding. The company has more than 15 metal-stamping presses of up to 250-ton capacity. It also builds and manufactures special machines for nonstandard applications to coin, pierce and trim metal components. The company has been operational for more than 30 years and serves the automotive industry. It has offices in Chelsea, Mich., and Ridgeville Corners, Bryan and Paulding, Ohio.
