Swingen Construction Company is a builder of heavy structures throughout the upper-Midwest. The company specializes in concrete structures, such as bridges, dams and heavy foundations. The company, which is in its fourth generation, is comprised of owners, designers, suppliers, subcontractors and its construction team. Swingen Construction takes on public and private interest projects, including Roseau Company (Minn.), Steele Company (N.D.) and Butte Company (S.D.). In 2004, Swingen Construction Company won a director s award in Fargo, N.D., the completion of the Interstate 29 bridge on Main Avenue. Swingen Construction Company is based in Grand Forks, N.D., and employs more than 100 people.
