Through my role at the UNC Health Alliance and UNC Internal Medicine, I work to help make health care equitable and accessible to all. I work within our system to improve transparency and support for those who can’t afford health care and with insurance companies to make care more affordable to those with health insurance. My teams and I help health care teams provide the best quality care that is possible, through work flow or technical support.

I grew up in Asheville, NC, and has been in the Triangle since 2007. I have had type 1 diabetes since childhood which has fueled my interest in caring for patients. I understand the complexities of diabetes management as well as the day-to-day nuisances. I take an individualized approach with each patient and strive to work together to come up with a plan of care.
