VFW Post 3746 has been instrumental in preserving the history and heritage of African American veterans who bravely served our country. VFW Post 3746 raises funds to help veterans who served in wars overseas.The purpose of the post is to provide support for service men and women returning home from combat while serving with the United States military. Today the membership is composed of veterans who experienced combat in World War II, the Korean War, Vietnam War and the Gulf Wars. A majority of our members are disabled and homeless, and require special needs. We are expanding our services to provide support for these veterans.
