I am fascinated by the art and science of medicine and nursing. I believe in developing caring relationships with my patients and their families. I seek a greater understanding of human health and the cause of disease. My philosophy on care is patient-centered, using a team approach. I provide holistic health services to all ages. I practice in a scientific manner, focused on realistic and measurable outcomes. I am an avid hiker, love learning and being outdoors, working with students, and coaching. I enjoy my family, music, reading, movies, traveling, sports, gardening and the art of Bonsai.

I chose to become a cardiologist in order to help patients live longer and happier lives. I approach each patient’s care individually and with empathy. I specialize in non-invasive adult cardiology and advanced cardiac imaging. I regularly interpret a variety of cardiac imaging studies including echocardiograms, nuclear stress tests, and cardiac computed tomography (CT). In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my wife, children, and dog in addition to SCUBA diving and hiking.
