Southeastern Community College

Founded in 1964, Southeastern Community College is located in Whiteville, N.C. The college offers various certificate, diploma and associate degree programs. It specializes in a range of programs in art, science, medicine and technology courses. It offers classes in a variety of subjects, such as marketing, psychology, sociology, history, business education and criminal justice. The college provides certificate programs in cosmetology, masonry, welding, law enforcement and information systems. Southeastern Community College also operates various subject-based clubs and organizations that conduct educational and cultural programs. Its sports activities include baseball, softball and volleyball. In addition, the college provides a range of services that includes counseling, career guidance, health assistance and financial aid. Southeastern Community College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
