Sky Top Orchard is a U Pick apple orchard located near Asheville, NC. Our orchard sits atop beautiful Mt. McAlpine affording a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. We offer apple picking beginning in early August and our u pick season typically runs through October. Our fruit stand is open from opening day until the Sunday after Thanksgiving. We also offer freshly made apple cider, hard cider, our famous apple cider doughnuts, preserves and apple butter, hayrides, a playground, an apple cannon, and other family friendly activities.
