Inaugurated in 1983, Elizabeth II Roanoke Island is a historical park located in North Carolina. It is a composite design of a 16th-century ship and is named after the vessel that sailed to the Roanoke Island in 1587. The park facility is constructed with treated yellow pine and planking and decking is done with Atlantic white cedar wood. It has costumed-guides and figures portraying mariners and colonists of the period. The park offers classroom and on-board training in anchoring, docking, sailing maneuvers and shipboard emergencies. In addition to that, it organizes a number of educational programs in marine management and sailing techniques.

Nice little museum experience - all staff were knowledgeable and pleasant. The movie was extremely educational. Fun afternoon for two adults, kids would love this it's a touch museum!
