Steele Creek Elementary School is governed by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. Based in Charlotte, N.C., the school offers classes from grades kindergarten through five. It provides courses in a wide range of academic areas, including arts education, computer and technology skills, math, information skills, language arts, science, social studies and career and technical education. Steele Creek Elementary School also provides the early childhood education program and the English as a second language program. The school offers a range of magnet programs, such as the accelerated reader program, communication arts, foreign languages, environmental studies, and visual and performing arts.
