The Sisters of Mercy have served WNC since 1900, operating the former St. Joseph's Hospital for nearly 100 years until its sale to Mission in 1998. Local, not-for-profit Mercy Urgent Care has cared for more than million patients since 1985 and provides a half million in charity care annually locally and internationally.

We're here for you for the care and treatment of non-life threatening illnesses and injuries without an appointment 7 days a week, 362 days a year (with the exception of Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas). Now offering telemedicine virtual visits, as well as the ability to schedule a visit online prior to arrival.

Long wait times due to them prioritizing walk in patients over scheduled appointments. So don't expect to be seen at your appointment time, they will laugh in your face.
