The Iams Company, a division of Procter & Gamble, was founded 1946. The company is one of the industry leaders and innovators in the pet food industry. Iams sells Eukanuba and Iams premium dog and cat foods in approximately 70 countries. It employs more than 2500 people. Eukanuba dog and cat foods are sold in pet specialty stores and veterinary offices and clinics. The company also sells Eukanuba in feed and grain stores, gourmet food stores, pet boarding and grooming locations, grocery stores, mass merchandisers and drug stores in North America. Iams is located in Henderson, N.C.
