Neuroscience and Spine Center of the Carolinas (NSSC) operates as a provider of a variety of brain and spine health care services. Based in Gastonia, N.C., the center has expertise in the treatment of spine and brain disorders. It treats various conditions, such as complex movement disorders, brain tumors, relieving the terrible pain, and back and spine problems. Neuroscience and Spine Center of the Carolinas (NSSC) offers an array of services that include diagnosis, evaluation and treatment of a variety of disorders, surgical options and physical treatments.

Mid Carolina Cardiology is one of the largest cardiovascular groups in North Carolina and South Carolina. It was established in 1994 through the merger of Mecklenburg Cardiovascular Consultants and Cardiology Consultants of the Carolinas. The group utilizes ECIS2001, GEMMS flagship product, which is an electronic clinical information and practice management system. The product includes scheduling, patient demographics, clinical encounter data entry and documentation, billing and collection. Mid Carolina Cardiology employs a work force of more than 30 staff members, including physicians, assistants, certified nurses and aides. It maintains a department of research that works for the advancement of the science of cardiovascular medicine.
